No more squeaking sheet metal! Say goodbye to welded rivets with 5x stronger Sheet Metal Adhesive!

**Sheet Metal Adhesive** is the metal joining revolutionary you’ve been looking for! It is not a ‘glue’, but a super adhesive technology that makes Sheet Metal Adhesive look like it grows together. Say goodbye to the pain points of traditional processes and embrace a stronger, lighter, quieter future!

Why is everyone using Sheet Metal Adhesive?3 Great Truths Blow Up!

1. Stronger than you can imagine!
Don’t let the name ‘glue’ fool you! Modern Sheet Metal Adhesive cures to form a bonding layer that often meets or exceeds the strength of the metal base material itself! This means:
More uniform stress: the entire bonding surface shares the load, there are no stress concentrations at the weld points, so goodbye to the potential for tearing.
Fatigue resistance soars: in the face of vibration and repeated stress, the bonded structure can carry more than riveted, spot welding, life extension is not a dream.
5 times? 10 times? In some applications (especially thin plates, composites bonded to metal), the strength of its enhancement is far more than the traditional method several times!

2. The perfect solution to the ‘heat’ trouble!
Zero thermal deformation: The biggest enemy of welding – high temperature deformation? Maintain the perfect flatness of the metal plate, high precision requirements of the workpiece gospel.
No harm to the coating: Galvanised sheet metal, colour coated sheet metal, sprayed parts? The high temperature of welding will burn the surface, the adhesive perfectly protects the precious coating, rust prevention and aesthetics at the same time.
Sound and heat insulation layer? The bonding layer itself can effectively block noise and heat transfer, enhance product NVH and thermal insulation performance.

3. Save time, money and effort!
Work process is greatly slimmed down: eliminating tedious steps such as grinding weld slag, patching paint and rust prevention, and drilling and riveting. Glueing – laminating – curing, a three-step process!
Visible cost reduction: Reduce equipment (welding machine, drilling machine) investment and energy consumption, save labour, save consumables (welding wire, rivets, sealant).
Freedom of design:Bonding can easily achieve dissimilar material connection (metal + plastic, metal + glass), unlocking new possibilities for product design, significant weight reduction.

Sheet Metal Adhesive Applications:

Metal Furniture & Cabinets: Assembly of filing cabinets, tool cabinets, display racks – non-marking surface, beautiful and sturdy.
Electrical & Electronic Enclosures: Shielded enclosures, chassis assemblies – providing electromagnetic shielding (EMI) and structural support.
Architectural metal roofing/curtain wall: joint sealing, profile fixing – weathering and ageing resistant, durable.

Bonding process:

1. Surface is king! Oil, rust and dust are the natural enemies of bonding! Thorough cleaning (degreasing) + proper sanding (increase roughness) is the first step to success, SSPC-SP10 or Sa 2.5 level cleanliness is the industrial grade requirements. 2!
2. Selection of adhesive is like selecting a general! Is it a structural force? Is it a structural stress? Do you need high temperature resistance? Or elasticity? Define your needs and select the right adhesive. Epoxy, acrylic, polyurethane, each has its own strengths.
3. There are rules for applying adhesive! Don’t just smear it on! We recommend a toothed scraper or spot/strip glue application to ensure uniformity and proper thickness of the adhesive layer, and to avoid any lack of adhesive or air bubbles.
4. Don’t be lazy in pressing! Apply adhesive immediately and use jig or spot welding to fix it temporarily, apply enough and even pressure to let the adhesive fully saturate the surface.
5. Wait patiently for curing! Temperature and humidity affect the curing speed. Allow enough time for curing according to the manufacturer’s instructions and don’t be in a hurry to test! Maximum strength is achieved when fully cured.

Sheet Metal Adhesive provides a smarter, tougher, more efficient and aesthetically pleasing solution for joining metal.
